RIB Fjord & Whale Adventure
Tour Overview
When the winter herring move into the fjords, the whales follow. In a small group, you see humpback whales and orcas up close.
When we spot whales, we cut the engine and glide in quietly so we do not disturb them. They are often curious and come close to the boat. The guides know these waters well and tell you about the whales' behaviour.
Coffee, toddy and snacks are served at Canyon Hotel after the tour.
The whole trip takes about 3.5 hours, including transport and coffee afterwards. Because of the cold, we spend about 1 hour on the water.
