Hike To Orvvosfossen

Following this path for approximately 2 km, you will find yourself standing before the magnificent Orvvosfossen waterfall. Its powerful cascades create a mesmerizing spectacle, as water flows gracefully over rugged rocks, harmonizing with the surrounding nature. Alta's outdoor life is a fusion of traditional practices and contemporary pursuits. In recent years, the allure of activity-oriented outdoor life has grown, becoming an integral part of everyday existence. You will start your adventure with a 30 min drive up to our historical Gargia Lodge. From the lodge we will embark on an adventure into the Gargia forrest. Along the 2km long trail you will get to breath in the crisp forrest air and maybe experience wildlife also. After around 1,5 hour we will reach the waterfall, a magnificent conductor, orchestrating its dance over the ancient rocks. On the riverbank we will enjoy a short rest with coffee, tea and snacks. ‍ ‍
