Your journey begins with an exhilarating Northern Lights snowmobile tour, where you'll traverse the vast, snow-covered wilderness of Finnmarksvidda, Europe's largest mountain plateau. After a comprehensive safety briefing and instruction from your expert guide, you'll set off into the Arctic night, chasing the mesmerizing Aurora Borealis.As you explore the pristine landscapes, you'll have the opportunity to stop at scenic viewpoints, admiring the stunning vistas of the surrounding mountains and forests. Your guide will provide hot beverages and snacks, as you learn about the region's fascinating history, culture, and wildlife. Keep an eye out for local fauna, such as reindeer and arctic foxes, as you navigate the trails.
After an unforgettable evening, relax at the welcoming Canyon Hotell, conveniently located in the city center of Alta. You can check in from 15:00 and unwind in your comfortable room, reflecting on the day's adventures. The hotel offers modern amenities and a warm, inviting atmosphere, ensuring a pleasant stay.
Day 2
The next morning, embark on a captivating whale-watching adventure in the stunning fjords of Northern Norway. Board a comfortable boat and set off into the pristine waters, where you'll have the chance to witness the majestic humpback whales and orcas in their natural habitat. Your knowledgeable guide will provide insights into the lives of these incredible creatures and the importance of the fjords to the local ecosystem.As you cruise through the breathtaking scenery, you'll learn about the region's rich maritime history and the traditional fishing practices that have shaped the area's culture. Take in the awe-inspiring views of the rugged coastline, with its towering mountains and picturesque villages dotting the shore.

- This trip is not recommended for those who have back problems or for those who are pregnant.
- Only the holders of a valid B class driver’s license are allowed to drive a snowmobile on this trip. You are required to present your license for verification before taking part on the ride. Guests without a valid driving license are only allowed to be passengers (min. age is 12)
- Minimum age to participate is 12.
- Minimum age to ride alone is 18. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Our guides will try their best to find the northern lights for you, but as the lights are a natural phenomenon we cannot guarantee you will see them.
- You will share a snowmobile with another passenger, so each of you will get to drive half of the trip. If you want to drive all by yourself, simply add the Single Driver Add-On when booking.
- Wear warm clothes and shoes in accordance with the weather forecast and season.
- Changes may occur due to weather. Æventyr reserves the right to change the itinerary or cancel the trip if the weather conditions appear unsafe or if the minimum number of participants is not met.
- Passengers must be at least 120cm tall to be able to join this trip for safety reasons.
