By Air

Alta Airport (ALF) is served by several airlines, including SAS, Norwegian, and Widerøe. Direct flights are available from major Norwegian cities such as Oslo, Tromsø, and Bergen. Using Oslo or Tromsø as connecting hub, you can reach Alta from all over the world.
Upon arrival, you can take a taxi or airport bus to reach the city center.

By Car

Alta is connected to the rest of Norway via the E6 highway. Driving from Oslo takes approximately 30 hours, while the journey from Tromsø is around 5 hours. The scenic route offers breathtaking views of the Norwegian countryside. Remember to check road conditions during winter months.

By Bus

Regular bus services operate between Alta and other cities in the region, such as Tromsø, Hammerfest, and Honningsvåg. Long-distance buses from Oslo and Trondheim are also available, but the journey can take more than a day.
