Feel the rush of adrenaline as you explore the region's breathtaking scenery, with the chance to spot local wildlife such as reindeer and arctic foxes.
As you reach the highest points of the plateau, take a moment to admire the vast, uninterrupted views of the surrounding mountains and forests. Your guide will provide hot beverages and snacks, as you learn about the area's fascinating history, culture, and nature. After an exciting evening, unwind at the cozy Canyon Hotell, conveniently located in the heart of Alta. You can check in from 15:00 and relax in your comfortable room, reflecting on the day's adventures. The hotel offers modern amenities and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, ensuring a pleasant stay.
The following morning, embark on a thrilling dog sledding adventure, where you'll learn the art of mushing and bond with your own team of friendly huskies. - We recommend all our guests to have their own travel and health insurance to cover unforeseen events outside the travel operator’s control and injuries.
- This trip is not recommended for those who have back problems or for those who are pregnant.
- Only the holders of a valid B class driver’s license are allowed to drive a snowmobile on this trip. You are required to present your license for verification before taking part on the ride. Guests without a valid driving license are only allowed to be passengers (min. age is 12)
- Minimum age to participate is 12.
- Our guides will try their best to find the northern lights for you, but as the lights are a natural phenomenon we cannot guarantee you will see them.
- You will share a snowmobile with another passenger, so each of you will get to drive half of the trip. If you want to drive all by yourself, simply add the Single Driver Add-On when booking.
- Wear warm clothes and shoes in accordance with the weather forecast and season.
- Changes may occur due to weather. Æventyr reserves the right to change the itinerary or cancel the trip if the weather conditions appear unsafe or if the minimum number of participants is not met.
